Took off from Lancaster into a tough headwind and landed in Lost Hills. Pretty country. We also followed the CA aqueduct for a while. Were on a trip from Omaha to Hanford, CA., a great adventure, somewhat like yours, but shorter and less strenuous. Even kept a diary/blog but not nearly as good as yours!
