Comments and Questions

Since it is so difficult to comment on my blog, I've created an email account for just this purpose. You can still post comments or questions on my blog, but for those who are having problems, please feel free to email me.

I love to hear from everyone. If I don't respond immediately, please understand that I hike 10-12 hours per day and spend up to 2 hours every night writing my blog. There isn't enough time to get everything done in the day that I'd like to. I'll try to answer emails whenever cell reception allows or when I'm in town.

  9. You and your fellow through hikers are awesome people; inspirational to many/most of the rest of us who aren't with you. Plenty of people/things to bring you down. You don't need to help in that. Remember where you are and what you're doing. Not everyone can or will. With your posts you're adding/uplifting lots of lives. I think you're a world beater. GO YODA!

  12. Hi Yoda! I found your blog through Steve. K- he read both of our journals and sent me an alcohol stove when I hit New Hampshire. I met you just before Hot Springs- you organized my birthday song! Thank you:) I made it all the way. D.No and C.Shell got off just 200 miles short of the finish because of a foot injury. They were so close! They will go pick up that 200 after he heals. I am excited to have found this blog and will follow your PCT hike.
    Take care,

  15. I've really enjoyed your blog! As a backpacking newbie (me) I was hoping you could comment on your backpack-how do you like it? Pros and cons? Does your ponytail (if you have one) hit up against your pack? Thanks for your words of wisdom!

  16. Yoda,
A friend in town(Cascade Locks ) sent me this website, and I found your blog embedded within it. I live above the PCT in a cabin and have taken in hikers over the years. This year I am working on a pilot podcast that invites hikers like yourself to tell their story. Let me know if you would like to provide some input regarding said podcast. Also, you can camp at our cabin if you feel so inclined,

Send me an email at mattfitzoregon@gmail.com,
    Look forward to meeting you,
    Matt

  17. Just following up to see if you would like to chat about your experiences on the trail.
I spoke to both the Mountains are Calling and Step into Nature over the past 2 weeks and
it was enjoyable. I can send you a link to Step into Nature's podcast if you are interested.
